Frank Lopez is a shareholder with Glade Voogt Lopez Smith Felser, PC. Frank’s practice focuses on civil litigation (including class action litigation), employment law, internal investigations, and personal injury matters. Frank is a former federal prosecutor, Deputy District Attorney, EEOC Senior Trial Attorney and has served as in-house counsel to Fortune 500 companies. Frank represents employees and employers in a variety of employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims; breach of employment contract; executive compensation; noncompete and other restrictive covenant issues; severance agreements; wage & hour claims; and wrongful termination.  His practice also includes providing experienced representation for employees and employers facing internal and external investigations. Given his vast experience developing, implementing, and supervising ethics & compliance programs, and corporate investigation functions, Frank knows where to find the evidence in a corporate environment. Frank is well versed in all aspects of civil and criminal litigation. He has tried numerous jury trials and bench trials to verdict and has handled countless depositions, evidentiary hearings, and mediations. Frank is also experienced in handling investigations before the NCAA, including proceedings before the NCAA’s Committee on Infractions, and is a zealous advocate for coaches and players alike. Currently, Frank serves as an EEOC compliance monitor pursuant to an EEOC conciliation agreement. Previously, Frank served as an EEOC compliance monitor pursuant to federal court consent decrees in various matters alleging violation of the ADEA and Title VII, including allegations of sexual harassment. He recently served as a Special Master in a class action lawsuit under the FLSA pending in U.S. District Court. In his free time, Frank pursues his passion for fishing, football and fast Fords.
