Cynthia is a longtime practitioner in the Denver legal community and has been involved in helping numerous clients navigate complex business transactions. Cynthia regularly advises clients on the purchase and sale of businesses, including intellectual property assets, as well as corporate financing transactions and raising capital in the private markets. She also regularly advises clients on brand clearance and federal and international trademark registration. Her clients include food and alcoholic beverage manufacturers, apparel manufacturers, real estate developers, fitness clubs, and professional services providers. Her experience and expertise include business transaction law, trademark and copyright protection, franchise and licensing, private securities offerings, business formation, and partnership and shareholder agreements.
Cynthia graduated with a B.S. in Economics and Sociology from Iowa State University and spent several years working in the banking industry in Denver. She graduated from the University of Denver College of Law (now Sturm College of Law) in 1990. Cynthia worked for Gorsuch Kirgis LLP in Denver from 1990 until 2005, first as an associate and then as a partner, specializing in corporate and securities law.
Cynthia is an avid tennis player and curler. She has served on several nonprofit boards of directors including The Delores Project, Mile High Community Loan Fund and the Denver Curling Club.
