Christopher is an associate attorney at Glade Voogt Lopez Smith Felser PC, specializing in complex civil litigation with a focus on motions practice and discovery. His practice primarily focuses on commercial litigation, particularly contract and construction disputes and suretyship. Christopher is a Michigan native and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan before earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado. He began his legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Tamara S. Russell in Colorado’s First Judicial District, where he drafted orders for technical civil cases.  Following his clerkship, Christopher joined a renowned Denver law firm, where he honed his skills in commercial litigation.  Notably, he secured a no-negligence verdict for a family-owned construction subcontractor facing a $600k claim, and played a key role in the successful defense of a surety client in a $63MM construction arbitration.  In his current role, Christopher has been instrumental in handling significant cases, including recently single-handedly securing a complete recovery for a contractor client in a construction defect arbitration.  His strategic approach and expertise in discovery and motions practice enhance the firm’s ability to navigate complex litigation challenges.  Outside of his professional endeavors, Christopher is an avid cyclist, mogul skier, and fisherman, reflecting his passion for both adventure and the great outdoors. He is also committed to volunteering, currently serving on the board of directors of the Michigan Rugby Foundation.
